Position Summary: MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Database Administrator (SECRET CLEARANCE). The Database Administrator will be supporting the government at Carlisle Barracks, PA – Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in/supports the identification, evaluation, and recommendation of DBMS design concepts and/or available products based on a matching of system capabilities to validated user requirements for the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) classified and unclassified communication systems.
• Determines file organization standards, table structures, indexing methods, replication schedules, and access controls for specific applications.
• Develops data queries in SQL and other database languages.
• Monitors database for usage, troubleshoots data compatibility and integrity issues, and makes modifications for improved performance.
• Creates database administration policies and procedures.
• 100% on site position.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field (4 years of experience as a database manager may be substituted in lieu of formal education)

Certification: Must maintain IAT Level II certification (Like CompTIA Security ) Certified Microsoft Azure Database Administrator or MySQL Database Administrator certification

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
